Pizzeria da mario

Da Mario has been around for more than 45 years and is located on the site of the former Saint Christopher’s Church on the Market of Bruges. The restaurant was first run by Mario himself. In 1980 the business was taken over by Marcello (Neapolitan) en Christiane (Belgian). After 15 years of service with the latter, Klaas and Wesley took over the restaurant in 2018 and gave it a new twist. The interior was completely redesigned and the cooking raised to a higher level. The name Da Mario was retained as it is now protected heritage.
Da Mario specialises in pizzas, but also offers a nice choice of bruschettas, various pastas, escalopes, tasty salads and delicious deserts. A good dish starts with good ingredients and that also includes a pleasant quality and affordable (house) wine. But a fresh Belgian lager on draft can also be a tasteful choice.       To top it all off, there's the beautiful location. From the restaurant you have a wonderful view of the thirteenth century Belfry and the Provincial Court. Everyone welcome!!!
